Current Projects
World GTL strives to be the ideal partner of countries and companies around the world who want to unlock the potential of their undervalued hydrocarbon resources while at the same time producing environmentally friendly and high value fuels and other products.
World GTL Trinidad Limited

World GTL Trinidad Limited, a joint venture between World GTL Inc and the Petroleum Company of Trinidad and Tobago (“Petrotrin”), the government wholly-owned integrated petroleum company, is constructing the first commercial gas-to-liquid facility in the Americas. The plant is anticipated to be fully operational in 2008.

World GTL’s plant in Trinidad is expected to produce 2,250 b/p/d GTL and will require approximately 21mcf per day of gas feedstock. WGTL sees many benefits from a project of this size and a GTL plant located near the proper infrastructure and close to a refinery, as with our Trinidad facility, helps support the business economics.

Several other projects are in the negotiation and development phases. In the course of the coming year, we expect to break ground on several new GTL facilities around the globe.

Coal-to-Liquids

Currently World GTL is in the detailed planning stage for the first Coal-to-Liquids (CTL) plant and has initiated discussion to build the first CTL plant in the United States.
