About Us
World GTL strives to be the ideal partner of countries and companies around the world who want to unlock the potential of their undervalued hydrocarbon resources while at the same time producing environmentally friendly and high value fuels and other products.
GTL Plant, Trinidad and Tobago

Established in 2000 by a team of experienced petroleum industry veterans, World GTL’s mission is to produce GTL diesel fuels that meet the needs of the multi-billion dollar transportation fuel industry, which is facing significant environmental and regulatory challenges as well as looming oil scarcity problems.

World GTL, Inc builds and operates gas-to-liquid (GTL) facilities that convert natural gas (coal and other hydrocarbons) into high-value, pollution free fuels and other valuable products.

A niche player in the industry, World GTL identifies remote, shut-in natural gas deposits that are promising development candidates for applying GTL technology, yet is too small for the majors. Around the world, World GTL seeks to employ its patent technology to efficiently unlock the value of underutilized resources and bring them to market.

During the past five years, World GTL management have traveled the world in search for commercial opportunities. The company has met with many of the world’s leading stranded gas owners and petroleum industry investors in countries that include Angola, Argentina, Bangladesh, Bolivia, Brazil, Canada, China, India, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, Oman, Russia, Trinidad, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, Yemen and others.

World GTL strives to be the ideal partner of countries and companies around the world who want to unlock the potential of their undervalued hydrocarbon resources while at the same time producing environmentally friendly and high value fuels and other products.
